Our Story
The business started in 1985 when as a young man Jerry started selling plants and flowers at his mother’s corner grocery store. In 1987 the business moved to a stand alone building and outdoor selling yard at 401 S Blakely St Dunmore, PA.
Again in 1990, Jerry’s expanded to a new larger location two blocks up the road at 215 S Blakely St. The business grew in that location to be one of the area’s best known and trusted garden centers and florists in northeast PA.

Jerry's is recognized as a Revolutionary 100 Garden Centers by Today’s Garden Center Magazine every year.
Growth and Expansion
In 2005 Jerry’s grew again to its current 40,000 square feet mega location at 201 Jessup St., Dunmore, as Northeast Pennsylvania’s largest garden center. The new location features a full service garden center, florist, café and bakery, gift dept, boutique, extensive patio furniture dept. and the area’s most complete Christmas wonderland.
Jerry’s is recognized as a Revolutionary 100 Garden Centers by Today’s Garden Center Magazine every year since 2009, listing it among the top 100 garden centers in the nation! Jerry’s has also been recognized as Electric City’s Best Garden Center and has won the Scranton Times Readers Choice Award for Best Garden Center & Best Patio Furniture.
